PERMANENT MAKEUP

I would like to describe the feeling of heaving a beautiful tattooed eyeliner or gorgeous tattooed lips through the story of one of my dear customers.

She has been my customer in cosmetics for a long time, arriving with washed-out blurry eyeliner I have recommended her permanent makeup multiple times: it is practical – it would save her valuable time in the morning, it stays beautiful in the sauna and she wouldn’t arrive home every night with a „monocle”.

She has been reluctant for some time. Then I figured it out! She was afraid it would hurt. I explained to her that the pain is minimal; it’s just a slight stinging feeling, only sensible at the first penetration, thanks to the special anesthetic.

She trusted me, so we did it!

I can’t describe how joyful she was when she came back to show me how the tattoo was healing. The door opened and she shouted, not minding how many other people were there: It is so beautiful! I love it! When can we do my lips too?

We were laughing loudly, but I have to admit it felt very good. I had an equal feeling when one of my customers hugged me after we finished her tattoo because it ended up being the same as she imagined it to be.

This is why I love PMU, this is why it became my passion!

Before PMU tattooing

Although there are no particular things to be done by the customer before the tattooing, there are several rules:

  • don’t go to the solarium in the two weeks before the scheduled date
  • don’t get persistent eyelash or eyebrow coloring in the two weeks before the scheduled date
  • arrive without makeup
  • don’t wear contact lenses while getting the eyeliner tattoo done and during the healing period
  • it is obligatory to remove eyelash extensions before tattooing your eyeliner
  • hydrate your lips with Bepanthen
  • if you are prone to herpes, it is recommended to take Telviran, which you would have to talk about with your doctor/physician
  • be aware of the fact that there may be a little swelling at the tattooed area

The materials and tools that are nowadays available make PMU a safe procedure.

The contraindications of PMU

The materials and tools that are nowadays available make PMU a safe procedure.

However, in some cases, it can’t be done or
it can only be done within certain boundaries.
(In case of: any tissue growth, inflammatory process, eczema symptoms in the affected area of the skin, psoriasis, rosacea, bleeding, endocrinological diseases, neurological diseases, psychiatric disorders, Lidocaine sensitivity, severe allergies, immune system diseases, pregnancy, sunburn, plastic surgery recently, severe diabetes, untreated hypertension, heart rhythm disorder, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, bacterial or viral infection, fever, visible altered state of consciousness.)

The steps of PMU tattooing

  • sterilsing the skin
  • anesthesia
  • design, predrawing
  • micropigmentation
  • aftercare
  • guidance for aftercare at home

The design of the tattoo is especially important since it doesn’t only give us the chance to highlight the beautiful parts, but also to correct and make the face look younger too. This time I take into consideration the style and the personality of the customer and also the characteristics of her face.

Thanks to my 20- year professional experience, I see the form and the color that would fit your face at the first glance. If this meets your style and wishes, we can continue smoothly.

We are making a permanent tattoo which will fade over time, but it will also define your appearance for years to come. It is tough to predict for how long will your tattoo be clearly visible. It depends on the type of your skin, your age, immune response, the functioning of your hormones. Personally, I like natural tattoos, therefore I am not going to accept making shrill and too colorful tattoos. In my opinion PMU is the perfect substitute for everyday makeup, but not for casual. It is worthy to stay moderate because less is sometimes more!

Home care

I will give you detailed info about this verbally and in writing too. Please do everything according to what I said, since the healed result depends on the aftercare very much. I can ensure you that I will recommend the most up-to-date of aftercare protocol.

You will get everything you need for home care from me!

The phases of healing of a PMU tattoo

I. The first 24 hours: at the site of pigmentation leakage of tissue fluid ceases, the skin closes, the surface becomes dry, it may stretch or burn, and redness or swelling may appear on sensitive skin.

II. 2nd to 4th day: a superficial and thin scab is formed, accompanied by an itchy or stretching feeling

III. 5th and 6th day: the scab peels gradually, the tattoo fades

IV. 2nd and 3rd week: the tattoo is pale or possibly grayish, itchiness or slight peeling may occur

V. 4th week: the epidermis is clear again, the color becomes brighter, and all healing symptoms disappear.
The duration of the healing stages and the intensity of the symptoms may vary from person to person depending on the age and the type and sensitivity of the customer’s skin.

I would recommend it:

  • – because it makes you prettier
  • – because it makes you happier
  • – because it brings joy
  • – because it gives you self-confidence
  • – because your morning routine gets shortened
  • – if you do sports
  • – if your glasses are an obstacle for your hands
  • – or if you could simply never do your own makeup
