Although technically almost the most difficult, tattoos on lips are my favorite ones.
There might even be no need to list the benefits, yet we can list them: we can eat, drink, kiss and the tattooed lips still won’t go anywhere.
In my experience the thing that causes the most problems for the majority of ladies is the shaping of a regular form of the lips.
They try to correct it with a pencil, which is more or less successful, but it starts all over again every day. Not to mention that by aging, the mouth simply loses its contour, its beautiful arch.

I rarely make lip contour tattoos, but if someone insists on it, I’ll do it using natural colors, because the dark-colored contours are outdated for a long time now.
Baby lips
Baby lips are recommended for young girls or if you are happy with your lips’ shape and just want to tint them slightly. I work with pastel colors and special techniques.
I suggest half lip shading if the lips are asymmetrical. I have to improve its shape and fill the area over the arch of the mouth.
We can’t cheat a lot, but we can a little bit In this case, it is important that the color of the pigmented part after healing and the natural color of the lips are harmonized. Natural 3D effect can be achieved.
By complete lip shading or „lipstick effect” the entire surface of the lips is pigmented. It is an excellent opportunity for the correction of the lips’ form. Its intensity can vary.
3D lips
This technique is performed with multiple colors, and with those colors we make the lips look optically bigger. The lips certainly won’t lack volume after this procedure.
Shiny lips
The gloss effect is given to the lips using the so-called lip gloss technique – using pigments of different colors and types. Of course, it will not look like as if we have really applied lip gloss on them, but the lips will really have a little refraction, which is particularly attractive in the right light.
The results of playing with colors are really beautiful – darker on the edges of the lips and lighter and lighter as we move towards the center, or a 3D tattoo with brighter colors at certain areas. However, you should be aware that any tattoo will be darker and more intense immediately after it’s finished than it will be after the healing process This is especially true for lip tattoos, so you can safely choose an intense color.
